Bio
Born and raised in Paris, I moved to California in 1980.
There, I attended UCLA and SFSU where I acquired a bachelor’s in Economics and a master’s in Business.
After briefly working in the pharmaceutical and novelty item industries, I decided to start anew as a fine artist.
I thus went back to the drawing board and studied fine arts at the Community College of San Francisco and at San Francisco State University.
A few year later, I had earned an MFA in Painting and an MA in Art History from San José State University.
In 1997, I started teaching studio art and art history at California colleges and universities.
Since 2004, I have been teaching as an adjunct professor at California State University Channel Islands by the picturesque Malibu coastline.
Making that drastic career change from business to art was the best decision I have ever made.
I have since enjoyed every moment spent painting in my little ‘atelier’ by the sea!
